Stephen Thompson Jr. has been given another chance to exhibit his ball playing skills to the NBA teams he is scouting to be a part of since his graduation from the Oregon State University. He has been added to the Dallas Mavericks Summer League roster.
Thompson Jr., the 6 foot four guard has finished his four year ball career at OSU in March, and finished as an all time leading 3-point shooter and fourth in career scoring.
The team which has had a workout for Thompson Jr. to be on their NBA Draft has been the Portland Trail Blazers as per last week’s draft. Dallas is still processing to put together the summer league roster. The Mavericks are to open summer league play in Las Vegas, against Brooklyn on the 5th of July. Dallas has also scheduled games against Houston and Sacramento, and Croatia.
The games will be televised on NBA TC and ESPN.
